Do you write songs, build beats, or produce in your DAW? Then I’ve created Piano For Songwriters just for you! Are you just getting started and have no idea what a DAW even is? That’s ok!

From beginner to advanced, I’ll use my years of experience to teach you the ropes of using the piano as the ultimate writing tool to achieve your goals.

Each in-person, songwriter-driven course is designed for your creative brain to make you a more fluent, confident, and connected songwriter. My courses will teach you the skills that matter in writing rooms, recording sessions, and industry circles, giving you a creative and technical advantage.

Flipping Traditional Piano Lessons On Their Head

Traditional lessons place an overwhelming emphasis on reading notes from the start - insisting “you can’t play the piano unless you can read”. For many, this pressure is frustrating and defeating. Not everyone wants to be a classical concert pianist! Let’s flip the traditional lesson on its head and play first!

Rather than rigid note reading, boring scales, and nursery rhymes, my unique "play-first" method has you jamming along with hip tracks on day one.

And the classes are fun! There's a reason my MTSU students affectionately dubbed me "the Ted Lasso of Piano"! With an infectiously positive and motivational teaching style, I'll empower you to believe in yourself and your ability to play.
